Rialto Bridge

from: Fisheye Venice

photo

Rialto has been the commercial center of Venice for more than 1,000 years. Where sailing ships once delivered spices and other precious cargos from the East, barge drivers now unload cardboard cartons of fake Murano glass and other souvenirs from China (not to mention clothing, telefonini, and iPods).
