You won't settle for a hotel that's merely near the Piazza San
Marco.
 For
years, the Hotel Concordia has had a reputation for being the only hotel
on the Piazza San Marco. We don't know if that's still true, but there's
no doubting that the Concordia offers some of the best views in town for
people- and pigeon-watching if you're lucky enough (and are willing to
pay) to get a room that overlooks the Piazza.
Some of the suites even have terraces overlooking the square. If you're
blessed with a terrace suite, you can have an alfresco dinner
catered by the hotel restaurant. (And if you don't have a terrace, you
can always enjoy the view from the restaurant's windows that face the
Basilica.)
In addition to views, the Hotel Concordia has all the services that
you'd expect of a four-star hotel, plus free Wi-Fi.
