Locanda Salieri

Location: A few minutes' walk from
the Piazzale Roma.
Convenient when:
You're arriving or departing by airport bus, cruise ship, or car, and
you want an inexpensive hotel in an appealing location.
The Locanda Salieri is on the Fondamenta del Gafaro, which is a three-
to five-minute walk from the
Piazzale Roma. The
Campo Santa Margherita, the Frari church, and many other landmarks
are only a short distance away, and anyone without mobility problems can
walk to the Rialto Bridge or
the Piazza San Marco in 20

In the first photo, you can see the walking route
from the Piazzale Roma (the big square on the left with buses and
taxis). Take the arched bridge at the bottom of the square and walk
to the Fondamenta del Gafaro in the lower right corner of the
picture.

The lower photo was taken from the north, looking
south toward the Fondamenta del Gafaro. The Locanda Salieri is in
the tall building just to the left of the three white umbrellas and
