Ground transportation:
Airport
buses and
land taxis to Venice's automotive
gateway, the
Piazzale Roma, depart from the
arrivals level of the terminal.
The Mestre "Fly Bus" to Venezia Mestre Railroad Station also leaves from the lower level of the building.
Water transportation:
Piers
for
water taxis and
Alilaguna airport water buses
are a 7- to 10-minute walk from the arrivals terminal. (If you hire a water
taxi, you can pay extra for a transfer to the pier area by van.)
Most of the walkway to the piers is covered, the pavement is nearly level, and you can take a luggage trolley all the way from the terminal to the pier area.
