Crystal Mozart in Budapest

  • January, 2022 update: The parent company of Crystal Cruises has declared bankrupty, and Crystal's cruise calendar has been suspended until further notice.

After years as one of the cruise industry's top luxury oceangoing lines, Crystal Cruises has expanded into the river-cruise market with four brand-new vessels plus the classic luxury ship Mozart, which was relaunched in 2016 after a top-to-bottom overhaul. (Mozart is currently the largest and widest river vessel in Europe, having been built specifically to fit the wide locks of the Danube between Passau, Germany and Budapest, Hungary.)

Crystal's river ships normally operate on the Danube, Rhine, Main, and Moselle, with nearly four dozen ports of call in 10 countries.
