Grand Circle Cruise Line is part of Grand Circle Travel, a tour operator for older Americans that was created by the same person who founded the American Association for Retired Persons (AARP).

In addition to a fleet of river vessels, Grand Circle operates several small oceangoing ships. The company's European saltwater itineraries normally include voyages in Northern and Western Europe, the Mediterreanan, the Adriatic, and the Aegean.
