(The company was the brainchild of Ethel Andrus, a retired teacher and principal, who also founded the AARP in 1958.) Grand Circle operates more than half a dozen river ships in Europe, with voyages in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe.
