Another popular stop was the Ny-ålesund Post Office. The counter was closed, but the door to the outer lobby was unlocked, and we  could use souvenir rubber stamps on our postcards, letters, pocket diaries, etc. (A number of people from the ship took the opportunity to mail postcards from the world's northernmost post office.)
