Back inside the ship, I encountered this old phone booth with decals from pre-satellite days. (Today, passengers can call from ship to shore via the Nordstjernen's satellite phone, or they can use their own GSM cellular phones during port calls at Longyearbyen, Barentsburg, and Ny ålesund.)
