Arles

The Café Van Gogh is the yellow café in Vincent Van Gogh's famous painting, "Café at Evening." The artist lived in Arles from 1888-1889 before cutting off his ear during a drunken argument with Paul Gauguin and committing himself to an asylum in St. Rémy-de-Provence.
