Tender/lifeboat

Like the motorized launches on all modern cruise ships, the Wind Surf's tenders can be used as lifeboats when required. They're fully enclosed and are stocked with emergency supplies.

In this picture, a Wind Surf tender is performing its normal, non-emergency duties as a shuttle between the ship and a harbor pier. (The port is Porquerolles, a French resort island off the coast of Provence.)
