Day 7: Rab, Croatia

L'Austral passed a navigation light for the island and town of Rab, Croatia shortly before 9 a.m. on Sunday, July 8.

The ship anchored offshore, facing the medieval center of Rab.

As usual, the receptionist's desk had a stack of local tourist maps, and we picked up a copy after breakfast.

Tenders were going ashore from L'Austral's marina by 9:30 a.m.

Our tender arrived just as a Jadrolinija catamaran ferry arrived from Novalja on its way to Rijeka.
