One of the first landmarks we passed after leaving Cruise Terminal Rotterdam was the
Hotel New York, which was
the headquarters of Holland-Amerika Lijn (in English, "Holland America
Line") from 1917 until 1977.
Tip: The Hotel New York is a convenient place to stay if you're
leaving on a cruise from Rotterdam, but book early: The hotel has only 72 rooms.
