The Locanda delle Acque is an inn or B&B near the Rialto Bridge.
It's tiny, with only three rooms, but all rooms have private baths and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the premises.
The Locanda delle Acque is hidden away in the Calle delle Aque ("Street of the Waters"), which is alongside a canal.
From the Alilaguna Linea Arancio airport boat's stop at Rialto, getting to the inn is relatively easy as long as you follow the directions below.
As you leave the Alilaguna pier, turn left. Cross the small bridge just ahead of you and walk through the arcaded passage until you see a Goldenpoint underwear shop.
Turn right onto the Calle Larga Mazzini and walk straight ahead to the Campo del San Salvador, which has a memorial column in the street.
Cross the campo and continue straight ahead up the Marzaria San Salvador. ("Marzaria" is the Venetian dialect spelling used on street signs; if you have a map, the street will be shown as "Merceria.")
You'll soon reach a covered passage named the "Sotoportego e Calle de le Acque." (See top photo.) Go through the sotoportego.
Ca' delle Acque will be just ahead at no. 4991. Look for the discreet plaque by the door (see inset photo).
