Porter was the guide who led the Guernsey Tourist Board's Sunday-morning tour of
downtown St. Peter Port during my visit on a Dover-Barcelona cruise aboard
Oceania's Regatta. Her visual aids ranged from satellite photos to a
cannonball, and she was generous in providing a witty, informative commentary
that went beyond the allotted hour and a half. I recommend her to anyone who's
interested in hiring a private guide.
