Zugspitze 

Looking at the Zugspitze's German summit complex from the Austrian side, we can see:

• The original meteorology tower (left), which opened in 1900 and is still being used by the German Weather Service.

• The Münchner Haus alpine hut (brown building with snow-covered roof).

• More labs and antenna towers.
