Document Neupfarrplatz

Document Neupfarrplatz is a museum beneath the site of Regensburg's largest Christmas market. From 1995 to 1998, when the square was dug up for utility work, archaeologists found ruins and treasures from a Roman military camp (ca. 179 AD) and a long-lost medieval Jewish quarter. The arch and stairs above are from the 14th Century.
