Voyages of Discovery (formerly known as Discovery Cruises in the U.S. market) is a small-ship line with a single vessel: the MV Discovery, a 20,186-ton vessel (formerly the Island Princess) with 350 cabins that accommodate two to four passengers each. Although the ship is equipped for "soft adventure" expeditions to such farflung destinations as the Arctic and Antarctic, it has traditional cruise-ship amenities such as swimming pools, bars, a movie theatre/lecture hall, a gym, an Internet center, and a beauty salon.

In 2009, the MV Discovery will offer roundtrip cruises from Harwich, England from May to late August, with summer destinations in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean. Pre- and post-summer cruises to destinations as far away as North Africa are also on the 2009 schedule.
