As our ship prepared to leave Itea, Greece, we noticed the
captain waiting impatiently on the flying bridge while one of the ship's tenders
remained at the harbor pier. Finally, the tender raced to the Silver Whisper
and was lifted aboard as the ship began moving.
We speculated on who'd held up the departure--a passenger or a
crew member? Later, an officer said the tender had been waiting for a
passenger's delayed luggage that had been sent overland from Athens.
