Silver Whisper
Silversea "Scotland's Tattoo" Cruise Review

ABOVE: The Silver Whisper, shown at
right, prepares to sail from the Langelinie pier in Copenhagen, Denmark.
A
European cruise is a bit like a chef's tasting dinner: As you cruise along
Europe's coastline, you can sample a menu of
countries and ports that you might never get around to visiting
under normal circumstances. The
Silversea
Cruises 10-day "Scotland's Tattoo" itinerary
aboard the M/V Silver Whisper was a case in point. Silversea's August, 2003
cruise offered port calls not only at popular destinations like Edinburgh and
Zeebrugge, but also in less touristed places such as the Outer Hebrides and
Londonderry, Northern Ireland. So, with memories of our previous summer's
Silver Whisper Mediterranean cruise still fresh in our minds, we
jumped at the chance to rejoin the ship for a cruise from Copenhagen to London.
In this article, we'll tell you about the ship, the ports, and
the sights along the way. To get started, or to find information on specific
