Hotel D'Angleterre and Kongens Nytorv

ABOVE: Hotel D'Angleterre, Copenhagen. INSET BELOW: The century-old façade of Nimb, a boutique hotel in Tivoli.

Hotel D'Angleterre
Copenhagen's most distinguished luxury hotel is on the city's largest square, the Kongens Nytorv. It has attracted the rich and famous (along with a fair share of expense-account guests) for 250 years.

Nimb HotelNimb
For location, this 13-room boutique hotel is hard to beat: It's the only hotel in Tivoli Gardens, where it occupies a Moorish-style building that dates back to 1909 (when it was known as "The Bazaar"). The hotel, which opened in 2008, has two restaurants on the premises: the Michelin-starred Restaurant Herman and the more affordable Restaurant Nimb, a brasserie where you can watch chefs prepare your meal.

Copenhagen Marriott Hotel
This American-style business hotel offers 395 rooms and suites on 11 floors, plus a restaurant, coffee shop, and convention facilities.

Airport hotel

Hilton Copenhagen Airport
A covered walkway connects the Hilton with Kastrup Airport's terminals. The hotel has 398 rooms and suites.
