The Apostoli Palace is a tiny inn that will appeal to New Testament fans: Each of the six rooms is dedicated to an apostle from the nearby Santi Apostoli church. The neighborhood is pleasantly off the tourist track, despite being close to the Rialto Bridge and within easy walking distance of the Piazza San Marco and other major sights.

You'll need to cross two bridges on your way to the Apostoli Palace, but the bridges are small and shouldn't be a problem unless you're rolling a piano.

How to reach the Apostoli Palace from the Fondamente Nove airport-boat stop:

As you leave the pier, bear right and look for the Salizada dei Spechieri. Follow the street inland past the Gesuiti Church and through the Campo dei Gesuiti to a canal.
At the canal, cross the bridge in front of you and continue straight ahead on the Salizada Seriman.
Bear right at the canal, cross the bridge, and continue on the Salizada L. Borgago for another block.
Turn right onto the Rio Terà Barba Frutariol and walk one short block to the next corner. The Apostoli Palace will be in the street to your right, the Calle del Padiglion.
