VIU is a consortium of seven universities, the Fondazione di Venezia, and the Province of Venice. Its education and
research facilities are on the small lagoon island of San Servolo.
Wake Forest
University Residential Study Center
Each spring and fall, twenty Wake Forest University students live and learn
for a semester in a palazzo on the Grand Canal. In the summer, the
WFU School of Law and the University of Venice offer a comparative law

Istituto Venezia
This language school in Venice's Campo Santa Margherita offers classes and
individual tutoring throughout the year. (The school also has a branch in
Trieste.)
Scuola Insieme
Learn Italian by total immersion in Grado, a coastal resort just 60 miles from Venice. Each
summer class has a maximum of six students, and the school director is an
Italian who is completing her Ph.D. at Yale University.
Parlo con Carlo
If you're looking to learn conversational Italian and can't afford
