Porto Photos

A few kilometers south near the Castelo de São João da Foz and the mouth of the Douro River, a Pilotos station dispatches harbor pilots to arriving and departing ships.

Portugal's oldest lighthouse is by the station; if you visit, look for a cat and dog next to the marina and fishing harbor. (In the dog picture above, you can just see a fishing net.)
