Danube River

When we took this photo, the excursion boat Regensburg was coming from its overnight mooring point to a landing near the Steinerne Brücke, where it would collect passengers for a Christkindlschiffahrt.

From the end of November until just before Christmas, Klinger GmbH operates 90-minute holiday cruises from Regensburg into the Danube Valley. The reasonable fare includes a cup of hot spiced Glühwein and a slice of Christstollen coffeecake.
