Lyon
 Passengers step off the M/S Viking Burgundy along the
Quai Claude Bernard, which is next to the University of Lyon on the east
bank of the Rhône.
The junction of the Saône and the
Rhône is below the city center, so the ship must pass the tip of Presque'île on
the Saône and double back up the Rhône to reach its berth.
