Deckhand

David, one of the two deckhands aboard the MS Maribelle, sits on a bollard in Chalon-sur-Saône while waiting to untie the ship's lines. (He and his fellow sailor, a petite and pretty young blonde named Justine, had the athleticism of gymnasts: They jumped on and off or shinnied down bollards as casually as squirrels on trees.)
