Tain l'Hermitage
The Passerelle Marc Seguin footbridge from Tournon leads
to Tain l'Hermitage on the opposite bank of the Rhône.
If you walk straight ahead to the Avenue Jean Jaures and turn right, you'll
reach the outlet store of the Chocolaterie Valrhona factory in about 10 minutes. Tain also has several wine merchants that offer tastings of the
local Côtes du Rhône Hermitage wines.
The Tain l'Hermitage railroad
station was featured in the 2002 Patrice Leconte film
L'Homme du Train
(English title: The Man on the Train), which starred Jean Rochefort and
Johnny Hallyday.
