In Tournon sur Rhône, the
Viking Burgundy (left) took the quayside berth because the Viking Rhône
was scheduled for an earlier departure. Passengers of the Rhône could
cross through the Burgundy's lobby and use its gangway to reach shore.
At dinner that night, the
passengers on the Rhône were just a couple of feet from our own table
(albeit separated from us by two layers of glass). It was like dining next to a
mirror, except for seeing strangers instead of our own reflected images.
