Accessible Venice Hotels: Grand Canal, Piazzale Roma, and Railroad Station

On this page, we've listed a small number of wheelchair-accessible hotels in other parts of Venice. We've focused on hotels that are close to both airport ground transportation and the No. 1 vaporetto, which is the most convenient water bus for sightseeing.

Grand Canal:
Palazzo Stern (4 stars)	Click for photos, rates, and reviews	The Palazzo Stern faces the Grand Canal. It's next to the Ca' Rezzonico airport-boat and vaporetto stop, where you can take the No. 1 water bus up or down the Grand Canal.
Piazzale Roma (airport buses, taxis, People Mover to Marittima cruise port):
Santa Chiara (3 stars)	Click for photos, rates, and reviews	The ISO 9001-certified Hotel Santa Chiara is directly on the Piazzale Roma. Guests with wheelchairs are accommodated in the hotel's barrier-free annex, Residenza Parisi, where rooms are "disable-friendly."
Santa Lucia Railroad Station:
Boscolo Bellini (4 stars)	Click for photos, rates, and reviews	This outpost of Italy's Boscolo hotel group is a short walk or wheelchair ride from the train station over level ground (but with low steps at the hotel entrance). Two of its 97 rooms are accessible.
Principe (4 stars)	Click for photos, rates, and reviews	The Hotel Principe is a full-service hotel with 139 rooms and a restaurant. Its entrance is on the level street from the train station, but its main façade is on the Grand Canal.
