We exited the Istanbul Cruise Terminal near the northern end of the Galata Bridge, which connects Karakoy Pier and the surrounding neighborhood with downtown Istanbul. It's a modern two-story bridge with wide sidewalks on both sides, a roadway, a tram line, and a lower level that has cafés and shops.
