While Cheryl went exploring, Durant headed for an Internet point just up the hill, where prices were reasonable and the PCs had American-style keyboards. The friendly owner sat on a chair outside the small shop; another chair was available for waiting customers.

Note the Avis Rent-a-Car sign: Katakolon has several car-hire agencies for visiting yachtsmen and cruise passengers. Small groups might find it cheaper to rent a car for the trip to Olympia than to book tours. Another option is to catch a train to Olympia and hire a taxi for the trip back to Katakolon. (Just be sure to get back before the final boarding call, or you'll need to reach the next port on your own.)
