Venice Hotel DirectionsAlphabetical Index of Hotels
We've chosen to focus on 125+ hotels that are convenient to transportation and of decent quality. (We also want to save you the time, cost, and hassle of taking a vaporetto or public water bus to your hotel after you arrive in Venice.) These directions are more useful than you might think, because building numbers in Venice aren't street addresses, and knowing that a hotel is at "San Polo 729" won't be helpful even with a good map. Also, the directions, transportation advice, and maps on many hotel Web sites are years out of date, so our hotel pages will help you avoid nasty surprises. To find hotel names, click or tap the letters above or scroll down this page. For convenience when searching, a few hotels are listed twice--e.g., "Best Western Hotel San Marco" and "San Marco."
