Visitors arriving by car can use this address for their route planning or navigation systems. By train:The most convenient way to reach Stuttgart and the new Mercedes-Benz Museum is by train. Stuttgart is linked to all major cities, and the train stops directly in the city center. At the main station, take the S1 subway train for two stops, getting off at Daimler Stadion and following the signs to the museum. By air:The distance from the Stuttgart airport to the city center is about 13 km or 8 miles. The subway train is the least expensive and, depending on the volume of traffic, the quickest way into the city (about 27 minutes travel time). The S2 and S3 lines leave from the lower ground floor of the airport. At the Hauptbahnhof (Stuttgart's main train station), take the S1 subway train for two stops, getting off at Daimler Stadion and following the signs to the museum. Alternatively, you'll find taxi ranks immediately outside Terminals 1 and 3 of the airport, on both the arrival and departure levels. If no taxi is available, you can call the taxi center in Stuttgart at 0 711 55 10 000 or airport taxi services at 0 711 9 48 44 09. By car:From the north: On the A81 motorway (Autobahn) from Heilbronn, take exit 17 marked "Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen/Stuttgart-Zentrum/Korntal/Vaihingen (Enz)" heading for "Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen/Stuttgart-Zentrum/Korntal." The exit road meets the B10 highway. Follow the B10 towards "Stadion." Leave the B10 after about 12 km and turn left into "Talstrasse" heading for "Stadion." After about 400 meters turn right into "Mercedesstrasse," which leads directly to the museum alongside the football (soccer) stadium. From the west: Coming from Karlsruhe, leave the A8 motorway at the "Leonberg" motorway junction and take the A81 motorway in a northerly direction. Take exit 17 marked "Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen/Stuttgart-Zentrum/Korntal/Vaihingen (Enz)" heading for "Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen/Stuttgart-Zentrum/Korntal." The exit road meets the B10 highway. Follow the B10 towards "Stadion." Leave the B10 after about 12 km and turn left into "Talstrasse" heading for "Stadion." After about 400 meters turn right into "Mercedesstrasse," which leads directly to the museum alongside the football (soccer) stadium. From the east: Leave the A8 motorway at exit 55 "Eslingen-Zentrum/Wendlingen/Plochingen/Reutlingen/Nürtingen" heading for "Esslingen-Zentrum/Plochingen/Wendligen" and continue on the four-lane B312 federal highway. At Plochingen, the B313 joins the motorway-like B10 running alongside the Neckar River. Follow this road towards Stuttgart for about 18 km. At the "Stadion/Daimler" sign take "Talstrasse. After about 400 meters turn right into "Mercedesstrasse," which leads directly to the museum alongside the football (soccer) stadium. From the south: Take the A81 motorway towards "Stuttgart/Stuttgart-Vaihingen." After the Stuttgart motorway junction, this becomes the A831 motorway and then the B14 federal highway. Follow this through the Heslacher Tunnel into inner-city Stuttgart, where it becomes "Hauptstätter Strasse," "Konrad-Adenauer-Strasse," "Neckarstrasse," and "Canstatter Strasse," passing "Neues Schloss," "Landtag," and "Staatstheater." Keep following the signs marked "Stadion" and "Mercedes-Benz." In a further tunnel, turn right onto the B10 in the direction of "Esslingen," and then follow this road alongside the Neckar River. Turn left at "Talstrasse," heading for "Stadion." After about 400 meters, turn right into "Mercedesstrasse," which leads directly to the museum alongside the football (soccer) stadium.
