The Albergo San Marco is a three-star hotel immediately north of St. Mark's Square. It has 55 rooms, including economy rooms for single travelers.

Getting to the hotel from the Alilaguna airport boats is easy and takes only a few minutes.

How to reach the Albergo San Marco from San Marco Giardinetti:

  1. As you leave the Alilaguna boat pier, turn right and walk along the water. (Souvenir kiosks and a small public garden will be on your left.) You'll cross a low metal ramp over a canal.

  2. At the Piazzetta (a large open space with two stone columns), turn left and walk into the Piazza San Marco.

  3. Cross the Piazza San Marco to the arcades on the north side of the square. Go left and look for a passageway under the arcades named "Sotoportego dei Dai.")

  4. Go through the passage, cross the small bridge, and continue into the Calle dei Fabri.

  5. The Albergo San Marco is on the left side of the street, just beyond the bridge.

From the Marittima cruise terminals:

  1. Take the Alilaguna Blue Line airport boat from the Marittima cruise basin to the San Marco Giardinetti waterbus stop.

  2. Follow the directions above.
