The three-star Hotel Anastasia is only about 50 meters from the Piazza San Marco, on a quiet little square below the Calle Larga XXII Marzo. You'll cross two small footbridges to reach the hotel from the Alilaguna airport-boat pier at San Marco Giardinetti.

How to reach the Hotel Anastasia from San Marco Giardinetti:

  1. As you leave the Alilaguna boat pier, turn left and cross a small stone bridge.

  2. Continue a few meters to the Calle Vallaresso and turn right.

  3. Walk straight ahead down the Calle Vallaresso, past Harry's Bar and a row of designer shops.

  4. At the first corner, turn left into the Salizzada San Moisè.

  5. Walk to the narrow canal alongside the Hotel Bauer, where you'll see gondolas on your left and a small bridge just ahead.

  6. Cross the bridge. On your left, you'll see a campiello or small square and the Hotel Violino d'Oro. Look for a sotoportego or passage.

  7. Go through the passage and past the Hotel Lisbona, where you'll see a sign for the Hotel Anastasia.

  8. Continue down the Ramo Secondo Barozzi to the hotel entrance, which is on the same square as the Hotel Westin Europa & Regina.

  1. Take the Alilaguna Blue Line airport boat from the cruise basin to the San Marco Giardinetti boat stop.
