Walking directions to Hotel San Cassiano Ca' Favretto (with map)
The four-star Hotel San Cassiano Ca' Favretto, a.k.a. the Residenza d'Epoca San Cassiano, lies directly on the Grand Canal. It even has a waterside terrace where you can enjoy breakfast or drinks in good weather. The historic building from the 1500s was the residence of a Venetian artist, Giacomo Favretto, in the 19th Century. Today, it has an assortment of guest rooms that range from singles to quads, some with canal views. The walk from the San Stae waterbus stop is fairly quick, although it does require crossing three small bridges.
