The three-star, 22-room
Hotel San Zulian
(Venetian dialect for "St. Julian Hotel") has a delightful location at the
corner of Calle Specchieri and the Campo della Guerra, just around the corner
from the San Zulian church.
From the Piazza San Marco, the Sn Zulian is an easy two- or
three-minute walk.
How to reach Hotel San Zulian from the San Marco
Giardinetti
airport-boat stop:
-
As you leave the boat platform, turn right and walk along
the water. (Souvenir kiosks and a small public garden will be on your left.)
You'll cross a low metal ramp over a canal.
-
At the Piazzetta (a large open space with two stone
columns), turn left and walk into the Piazza San Marco.
-
Cross to the northeastern corner of the Piazza (to the right
of the clock tower). Near the carved stone lions just beyond the Basilica, you'll see a
narrow street named the Calle de la Rizza that leads into the Calle Specchieri.
-
Walk down the Calle Specchieri. You'll soon
reach a corner where you'll see café tables and an awning with
the name "Albergo San Zulian."
From the Marittima cruise terminals:
-
Take the Alilaguna Blue Line airport boat from the cruise
basin to the San Marco Giardinetti waterbus stop.
-
Follow the directions above.
