For transit fans: Our first video shows a three-minute ride on the
People Mover from the Piazzale Roma to the Tronchetto parking island. It was
taken on the People Mover's first day of public operation, so the train merely
slowed down without stopping at the then-unfinished Marittima station near the
Venice Cruise Port entrance.
The second video shows a People Mover train entering the
Tronchetto station after dark, followed by a somewhat bouncy three-minute ride
to the Piazzale Roma:
