Sherkin Island

The Islander's Rest is withing walking distance of the ferry. The hotel's breakfastroom/restaurant is in the foreground; a bar is behind.

During our visit, another pub nearby had live Irish music with dancing on Saturday night. The caller (if that's the term) was Danny Murphy, one of the local boatmen and ferry operators.
