Use this Google aerial map to see where to go as you approach Venice on the Ponte della Libertà, which is the causeway from the mainland. (This map displays best on desktop computers, laptops, and high-resolution tablets.)

In the satellite image below, you can see the road curve to the right from the causeway, with one fork leading to the Marittima cruise basin (the U-shaped island) and the other leading to the Piazzale Roma (the grey patch at the end of the yellow road).

From the cruise basin, a bridge leads north to the island of Tronchetto ("A") and its parking garage.
