OspedaleFrom: Venice Waterbus Stops Ospedale means "hospital," and the Ospedale ACTV waterbus stop is on the Fondamente Nove, immediately next to the ambulance piers at Venice's medical center.
To get medical treatment, simply leave the boat station and follow the signs to the hospital's emergency entrance, which you'll reach via a covered walkway. Important: If you're having a serious medical emergency, don't wait for a public water bus: Instead, phone 118 and request an ambulance in Italian, English, French, or German.
