Pellestrina (Cimetero)From: Venice Waterbus Stops Pellestrina (Cimitero) is an ACTV waterbus stop on the barrier island of Pellestrina, which is south of the Lido di Venezia on the way to Chioggia. One side of the island faces the Adriatic Sea, and the other--including the ACTV boat stop at Cimitero, just below Pellestrina's urban center--is on the Venetian Lagoon. We're aware of one hotel in the vicinity: the Locanda Stravedo (B&B), which is about 2 km or 1.2 miles from the Pellestrina Cimitero ACTV stop and a few minutes' walk from a long, wide beach on the Adriatic. The Locanda has a bar, restaurant, and gardens. Note: The Pellestrina station doesn't have a ticket booth or vending machine, so here's what to do when you need to board a water bus without a valid ACTV ticket.
