San Marcuola and its neighboring pontile or platform of San Marcuola Casinò are the vaporetto stops for Venice's Casinò, which has been separating gamblers from their money since 1638. The sister stations are named for the San Marcuola Church, which is between the two platforms on the satellite map above.

San Marcuola is served by:

Hotels in the immediate neighborhood include the Locanda Ca' San Marcuola (B&B), which is located on an a quiet and attractive little square near the boat stop, and the Casa del Melograno (B&B).

Notes:

  • San Marcuola Casinò has an ACTV ticket machine (but no ticket booth).

  • When traveling from San Marcuola or San Marcuola Casinò, check the route signs to make sure that you're at the right platform.
