San Samuele is a small vaporetto stop next to the Palazzo Grassi, a museum that houses contemporary art exhibitions.
The station is in the San Marco district, within walking distance of the Piazza San Marco.
San Samuele is served by:

Hotels in the immediate neighborhood include PalazzinaG (five stars), Ca' dell'Arte (B&B), and Ca' Pagan (B&B).
Note: San Samuele does not have a ticket booth or vending machine, so here's what to do if you need to board a water bus without a valid ACTV ticket or Tourist Travel Card.
