Accademia is a busy ACTV vaporetto stop on the Dorsoduro side of the Grand Canal, next to the Accademia Bridge and the Gallerie dell'Accademia art museum. (Expensive public toilets are located beneath the foot of the bridge.)

The waterbus station is served by:

ACTV Lines 1, 2, and N public water buses

Tickets and Tourist Travel Cards are available from an ACTV booth (during business hours) or a vending machine.

You'll find several hotels nearby in the Rio Terrá Foscarini, a wide pedestrian street that leads inland from the Grand Canal. These include the Ca Pisani Hotel (four stars), Hotel Agli Alboretti (three stars), Hotel Belle Arti (three stars), and the Domus Cavanis (two stars).
