ABOVE: From the Venezia Mestre railroad station, it's easy to reach Venice's historic center by train.

You're unlikely to go wrong with any of the hotels on this page. All are within a one- to 10-minute walk of the station, where trains from Mestre to Venice run frequently from early morning until late in the evening. (Tickets are cheap, and the trip takes only 10 to 12 minutes.)

The Venezia Mestre railway station is also served by ATVO Fly Buses from Venice Marco Polo airport.

Tips:

  • When you've clicked through to a hotel page, click the "Check location" mini-map below the search box to see the hotel's exact location.

  • From hotels a few blocks north of the station, you may find it quicker to catch an ACTV public bus into Venice. Hotel reception desks normally sell bus tickets with no surcharges.
  • We've identified hotels that offer free or paid parking. Traffic is light in Mestre, and the street system isn't too complicated, so it's easy to stay in the town center if you're traveling by car.

Hotels directly across the street from the station:

imageBest Western Plus Hotel Bologna ****
The Bologna is an outstanding hotel, especially for the price. Services include a book exchange, free Wi-Fi, and free Internet terminals in the lobby. Parking is available, and you can choose from two restaurants (with gluten-free products in the breakfast room by special request). Check lowest available rates, reviews, and availability:

imageHotel Plaza ****
The Plaza is modern, with 210 guest rooms. All rooms have free Wi-Fi, parking is available at the "Parking Stazione" next door, and there's a stylish bistro-café, the Soul Kitchen, at street level.

imageHotel Tritone ****
The Tritone is a renovated 1960s hotel with free Wi-Fi and parking next door. Like the Bologna and Plaza, it has high ratings from guests who have reserved through our booking partner.
