Silver Spirit Cruise Photos
We spent much of our time in Alghero exploring the newer sections of town, which aren't of much interest to the average visitor (unless, like Cheryl, the visitor is a paparazza dei cani.)
After wandering through block after block of uninspired housing from the late 20th Century, we headed toward the resort area north of the Old Town.
In this photo, you can see the lungomare or waterfront promenade that connects the centro storico with the, a beach that runs for several kilometers along the bay.
A large marina, the , separates the Old Town from the beach.
