Tronchetto (Mercato)

From: Venice Waterbus Stops

Tronchetto (Mercato) is next to a wholesale fruit and vegetable market on the parking island of Tronchetto.

The Tronchetto Mercato stop is served by:

Tip: If you're headed for the nearby Piazzale Roma or the Marittima cruise terminals, skip the vaporetto and take the People Mover instead. The automated People Mover tram has stops at both locations, and it's both faster and cheaper than the water bus. Look for the all-glass, ultramodern People Mover station near the Mercato vaporetto stop. (You can see the People Mover's elevated tracks in the photo above.)
